And to Dave's crew (Redfang & Draco) of course!

But why are the NAF rankings not online yet? And why is it that they are incorrect? The calculation does not add up and my score did not change! :D
(thought to get rid of these question immediately)

It was Snotty with his goblins...

I eventually ended up as 42nd of the 46 and I think that should I've not won from him in the fourth round, that last position would have been firmly in my grasp. Man, I so definitely need to get myself a new set of dice, cause they kept rolling ones when I really (REALLY) did not need them. But, at least I created a new record. A 7-0 win with 6-1 in casualties... Against Snotty.

so I finally lose a game or two with CDs and suddenly all the maggots come out the woodwork to taunt me, right?

funny how the two guys who beat me did so based purely on my dice rolls and not on their ability :P

I've sacrificed myself to Nuffle to play you on game 4 and walk on your face. It's why Sputnik finally beat me on game 5. Karma balance :P

...it's not how well you did, it's if you had fun that realy counts... :P

Once again, a fantastic tourney and many, many laughs (and beers) had!

I'm online at the airport and I have to board soon so a couple of the immediate highlights (in no particular order) that spring to mind:

*The barmaid promising me 10 free beers next year if I helped her put away a few tables -WUHOO!

*'Double' bend buses - :o

*French horse-riding and Dutch camel-riding - :?:

*Being a gentleman and letting my host for the weekend beat me (at BB that is...) - only fair really :P

*The lack of decent armchairs in Germany and tales of Sesame Street-

*Deciding at 1.30-2am on the Friday night to use the slighty broken Norse team and borrowing Ulfwerner/using substitute mini's and a roster written on a beer matt - "Honest, that Minotaur is a snow troll..."

Congrats to Kheldar!

Many thanks to the Bubble crew, and the Redfang for letting me sleep over. I had a great time & can't wait to get back to the Netherlands for another tournament.

Cheers for another great tournament. The Death Roller was fun, if not quite worth 160K. But five good games nonetheless, and thanks to Redfang for hosting me.
