Im used to playing orcs, and it is really easy to protect a gobbo or 2, but everything I have read to play against lizards is to try and blitz a skink every turn if possible........On offense I feel comfy playing 4-5 skinks, but on defense is the part that is going to be a learning experience for me...... Especially with a wood elf and dark elf team in our league who are just as fast or faster than me............

it all depends on how long your league is going to go for, i always think long term and put all saurus and the krox on. i don't mind if i lose games at the early stages, as long as my bash players are advancing, skinks skill up pretty quickly. if you can wait and develope your front line i find that there are not many teams that can stand up to your offence, then the skinks come into their own. in the leagues i have played in i tended to win the early games(before other players skilled up) lost the middle games(while i skilled up my bashers) and then began to win again toward the end as my bashers and attrition began to tell on the opponents. never underestimate the 6 movement of the bashers i find it constantly catches out my opponants as they seem unable to equate Str4 and speed in the same player, and are quite supprised when a saurus moves half way a cross the field to blitz someone
