Maybe you should add some guys from your league to that team.
They played at a very high level last weekend

Yip, they played very well.
So well I was the teams last place with "only" 3 wins and a draw.

But, Jonas isn't in our League and Manuel neither.
And Marvin is still a pupil. At the Moment we have a second hungarian guy who might fill the last Spot.

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

Because Jamie (jordell) is very keen to attend tournaments, but rarely makes them.

Cheers

not that my opinion matters, but I think the whole freebooter team is a ridiculous concept which I find very offensive to be frank. We may as well make it an open tournament and then allow guys to group themselves into any team they wish... the whole point is that 8 countrymen represent their (adopted  ) nation and the winners host the next year's event.. this is just a bad joke for people who are annoyed to be left out by their countrymen...

Whats the problem norse. The freebooter team is just to even up the numbers. This guys dont even know if they are playing, but they are willing to travel to italy.

If I were you, i would just say "thx" to these guys.

then better to allow Italy to field 2 teams the way Holland and France did at EB1 than to have a mixed team with no allegiances..

what if the freebooters actually win the tourney, then what?

and ANY system which gives people like Olaf the opportunity to attend tourneys is a BAD idea if you ask me...

Totally agree. Italy should have the right to field a second team.

Surely if you play for the freebooter team you cannot play for your country in the future

Freebooter team is not a concept :

So Italy B could take over. If they cannot get a B team together THEN ask for Freebooters.

I think a freebooter team takes alot away from the whole concept of the eurobowl.
