Is dump-off limited to once a turn

Post by TennBoy »

Say you have multiple guys with the dump-off skill, could you keep making dump-off passes and daisy chain the ball down the field, if your opponent kept making blocks agianst them?

I can't think of a reason why you couldn't.

Because your opponent would take out a link in the chain before you could attempt this?

No limit to the amount of times a player can Dump Off in a turn. Theoretically with Ball Clone (and some unusual dice rolls) a player could Dump Off twice by themselves.

The only limitations to Dump Off are the skills that it doesn't work with (Bombs, TTM) and that it can't be used on the 2nd Block of Frenzy. Apart from that it's covered by the normal rule of "All skills may be used an unlimited number of times per Action."

I wasn't expecting to make it all the way to the endzone, or pull this stunt off multiple times in a game. All I am saying is that if you could make more than one dump-off pass a turn, you could greatly out manuever your opponent. at the very least use this to isolate their blitz off your ball carrier after you catch them off-guard with this little stunt the first time.

TennBoy, I wasn't saying you couldn't surprise your opponent that way. The whole point of Dump Off is to get the ball somewhere your opponent doesn't expect it.
