Pushing onto ball or off-field
If your opponent blocks a player, pushes back, and has a choice between a square with the ball lying in it, or off the field, he HAS to push to the spot with the ball on it.
My opponent was saying the square with the ball counts as an occupied square, so he can push my player into the crowd. I disagreed and said he has to push onto the ball, which would subsequently bounce one square, because you can't pick-up a ball that you are pushed on too.
I ultimately convinced him I was right, but a just verifying my logic was correct.

You don't even need to argue logic.

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

A similar question, you can't pick up the ball if you end up in the square from a pushback? Correct?
One of those chain push backs scenarios, and a guy ended up on the ball, but because he wasnt the one that got blocked, he was saying he could try to pick up the ball. This was another game, which I also found to be wrong. Anyone who is involved in a pushback, either the original player or subsequent players are still considered to be pushed back. Right? And push back means you can't pick-up the ball.
