Pink Horror,
Just give the runner pass on his first skill roll, if you want to develop a passing game with a dwarf team, why the hell you would do this is beyond me, but that is why BB is so great, the wierd things that can occur keeps you constantly on your toes.
And lets face it, if you witnessed an effective passing game on a dwarf team without the help of a bazooka would be pretty damn impressve as well as amusing

To use DC you have to be the target of the pass (or HM). Therefore there isn't too much point having 4 DC's as you can't build up interlocking DC zones.Longshot wrote:I ve played against a Skaven team with Hail mary pass and 4 gunter runners with Diving Catch=>it was impressive!

LRB 1.3 pp 34

I remember playing it differently too, but this rule avoids such nasty little abuses.Diving Catch (Agility Skill)
The player may use this skill if the ball was thrown to him and missed. It allows the player to move one square after the ball has scattered. This move is made after the ball has scattered, but before it hits the ground or can be caught. No Dodge roll is required to make this move. If the move takes the player into the square that the ball is in then he is allowed to try and catch it. Although a player using a Diving Catch ends up on the ground
for a moment, because this is a controlled fall he will not be injured and he will almost instantly regain his feet. Therefore the player is not knocked over when he uses the skill.
