Pro and Shadowing
Can you use Pro to reroll your own shadowing dice roll during your opponents turn?
Example:
Orc thrower dodges away from my wardancer. I use shadowing to follow into his square. I dont roll high enough to follow. Can I use my wardancers pro to reroll my dice roll?
Weird scenario, but it came up surprisingly.

Because he has no more Blitz, and wants to get to the endzone?clouds wrote:From the FAQ
Q: Can you use re-rolls when rolling for Tentacles, Shadowing and Pro.
A: Yes as long as it is your team's turn. However, you may use the Pro skill on Tentacles and Shadowing rolls during either team's turn.
Now....Why the hell would an orc dodge from a WE

I was wondering... Can you "concede" a shadowing roll?
Let me explain... Suppose you dodge away from a shadower with the intent of bringing him somewhere else (you WANT to be shadowed)... Suppose opponent coach decides to attempt shadowing... Can you concede him a successful roll? Don't think so, but it might be good to...

No, you can't concede him a roll. You can agree that he doesn't have to use the skill. but if he uses the skill, the dice HAS to be rolled.

I would have to agree with Rune, I don't believe you can concede a dice roll where one is needed. What is to stop the other coach from conceeding as well, once he knows your motives. Everything about BB is chance, you cannot concede/intentionally fail a specific action to ultiamtely further yourself, thus negating the chance aspect of the game.
Roll the dice and see what happens. You could always just Block him too.

Slight issue ther dwarf. You can intentionally not use a skill to screw some one over.
A certain ginger numpty did it to me. Set up for the OTT, and it all went perfectly until i blitzed his 'zon lino and got a Pow/Dodge. He decided not to use the dodge skill. OTT over.

I guess I should have clarified. I meant that if an opponent decides to use a skill the dice must be rolled to coincide with that skill. You can't decide to use a skill, then decide for it to succeed or fail without rolling the dice.hoomin_erra wrote:Slight issue ther dwarf. I am not sure how knocking someone over stops you from a OTT? But thats not important

That's when strip ball comes-into play. You still have to get through those BoBs somehow though.dwarfrunner wrote:AHHH, now I see. That makes sense. Next time you should just play Wood Elves like me, then everything is within scoring distance (getting the ball from a Block Orc is the problem)
