Dump off and SPP

Hi there,

i am playing now Darkelves in our League and I have a Question about the Runner.
For Example: My Runner get blitzed an I decide to use dump off. A Lineelf or somethin catches the Ball. Does this pass count as completion ? I would think no and in the LRB5 i didnÂ´t see a clear statement about this. Maybe I should buy some glasses

A dump off is a pass, so if it's accurate and caught by the intended reciever you gain a COMP (and the 1 SPP that brings.)

Short: Yes, if the player who caught the ball is intended receiver.

LRB5.0 wrote: Completions (COMP)

A player who makes an accurate pass that is caught by the intended receiver from his own team when the ball comes to rest earns 1 Star Player point. This is called a completion.

The text says nothing about throwing on your own turn neither does dump off specify otherwise. I can't see why dumping shouldn't award a completion.

Edit: Checking the rulebook takes time I see

Yes Sharky, you get the CMP for an accurate Dumboff, if its caught by the intended receiver.
