You can move as many players as have Pass block and meet the other conditions of pass block..so yes, you can move both of them

Catch is nice on professional pass blockers like those.

I'm curious though: how often do you get to use the skills of your dedicated interceptors in your league matches?

Or, is that they're more useful as deterrents against elf-like tactics?

Not just when you get to use the skills, but how much you make your opponent predictable. If they are afraid to pass you know what they are going to do.

That's where the skills become most valuable. You've stopped the passing game. If you can stop the ground game, now, you're done.

Interesting. So in general do you guys find that you need two interceptors or just one specialized player acting as a safety in center-field?

I'm just wondering how many skill-ups people find reasonable to used in defending the pass?

2 AG5 players with Pass Block (which just happen not to have to "waste" a skill on Block) are fantastic. One either side of the pitch will pretty much shut down the passing game, or at least make it very predicitable where they're going to throw.

I wouldn't worry about the fact that neither will ever get the chance of an interception again, just the fact tthat they make your opponent pass where you want them to pass is good.

One AG5 PB player is good, 2 is even better.

I had a AG5 Catch PB player, that finally got his first interception recently (it was a turn 8, "have to try it" play on part of my opponent), mainly because in the 6 or so games since he got PB, no-one dared try the pass anywhere near him, meaning I could concentrate the Pass Defence away from him.

My Pelf-Team has two AG5 Passblock-Catcher. Together with Catch and NoS it stops the passing game. But Helfs are critical because of the safe throw skill (throwers).

For stopping the ground game i have 4 blodger/sidestepper, a ST4 strip baller and of course a diving tackler.

Because of this my opponents have to pass when i stop ther offence. Which leads to 15 Interceptions in 22 games. But as Darkson said, you need two of them.

You know, I don't think I've ever picked pass block, opting instead for shadowing for it's nuisance factor on defence. In fact, my general philosophy when defending with an agile team (mostly with my Skaven) is to encourage my opponent to pass.

As long as no opposing receivers are within reach of the endzone that turn, I figure that a pass attempt against me only increases the chances of a turnover and my chances for a quick counter-attack. If my opponent does score, then I generally have the ability to equalize with 2-3 turns. Either way, offering a weak passing option to my opponents seems to provide enough of a distraction that my AV7 players don't get beaten up right away.
