Falling...

Post by Joaquim »

For what I understood (wich is reason enought to think if it's correct...) a player falls in the square he was moving to, be it in dodges or going for it...

Now, if you are making a Blitz, and GFI to throw the block, and fail, where do the player falls?!?... We simple say that he falls in the square where he is, amd it makes some sense... but this would be a "kind" of exeption to the general rule.... perhaps the interpretation that the player falls in the square he is trying to leave has it's merits, at least there wouldn't be exeptions....

In this case your gfi to make a block not to move the extra square and you do fall over in the square you are, I think the current rules (for this) are fine, not overly complex at all.

I've always played it this way - and the same applies for Leap too (if you allow GFI's to leap).
