Hi There fellow bloodbowl fans. My fellow dwarf teams will be please to know that I’m on a 9 game undefeated streak at the moment, just beating the top of the league twice in a double-header!

Still a few questions if you have the time!


Can you use a Team Re-Roll on the wizards ‘To hit’ roll?

When dodging around in tackle Zones do you count all opposing TZ’s or only TZ’s that are from players not in an opposing TZ themselves?

Can you use Diving Catch with Hail Mary Pass? If yes on which bounce do you try and catch it?

Do you have to be next to both the defender and the attacker or just the attacker to assist the defender in a block?

1st player tried to hand off the ball to player 2, who drops it. The ball bounches into the arms of your player 3, Player 1 has acted but has player 2?

You are blitzing the ball carrier, you hit and the ball bounches into your arms, Can you continue to move? Can you complete a pass?

Not sure on this one but I'm sure someone else can help you here. But my gut says no as you also can't reroll an apothecary roll.

All opposing TZ's count.

Declare hail mary and nominate target square.
Roll the die.
If not a fumble scatter ball as described in HMP description.
After scatter, check whether a player can catch the ball (diving catch may be used).
If no-one is in a position to catch or the catch roll is failed scatter the ball 1 one more time (1 square) for the bounce.

Just the attacker.

Catching the ball is not an action, player 2 can still act.

Yes, you can keep moving but you can not pass or handoff. You can only pass or handoff if you declare a handoff or pass action and since you have already declared a blitz action you cannot do this.

The wizard is a member of the coaching staff and not a player. The text at the reroll section indicates that only players can use rerolls, so the answer to your question about wizards using rerolls is: NO he cannot.

And that makes it 6 out of 6!

All the answers above are correct however I thought a little expansion on this might be useful:

The HMP does not bounce 3 times - it scatters. As with all scatters this happens "in the air" so there is no chance to catch it until it lands. Once it lands you can use diving catch on the square it lands in.

one additional note on Diving Catch. You can use diving catch to catch the ball after it has scattered, but not after it has bounced (says so in the Description of DC).
