Jump Up and Bloodlust

Post by Grumbledook »

As the skill reads a vamp will have to make an agility roll after declairing a block even if he fails bloodlust. Is this intentional?

Was looking at taking it on a vampire in a tourny, seems a bit harsh to make them roll again if they are then performing a move action to bite their own team mate. Maybe change it to performing a block action rather than declare?

Not a massive biggie as its still only 2+ but all the same ;]

This one is grey area for sure.

I would have to say though that I'd allow you not to have to roll for the Jump Up once the Blood Lust was failed since you are no longer trying to perform a Block action. While you declared a Block action ... the Block action was deleted and you are now performing a Move action and that doesn't require a Jump Up roll.

Makes a lot of sense as the AG roll is only for the complication of throwing a block. Now your not going to do that it seems right to treat it as a normal jump up action!
