Then I will make your day a bit lighter by saying that I went with Lizardmen. The merry Leguanas.
I started as you stated above accept I saved 20000 in gold instead of AC and CL.
The league now looks like this;
1. Me Lizardmen
2. Wood Elves
3. Orcs
4. Dwarves
A met the dwarves today and beat them with 2-1 after his bad luck made him miss a open field TD and the turn after I missed one the same way.
I lost a Saurus though. A bit harsh for the next game.
Really don't know how to build the Lizards... I only can see the obvious with Saurus and Skinks, Block, guard, break tackle for saurs and side step, jump up with skinks. It seems like a hard time to build up the skinks. They need a lot of doubles to make it.
Any tips?

A couple of observations-
I wouldn't worry too much about building up your skinks-they're likely to get killed off before they're too developed (and anyway, they're pretty good without any extra skills)-especially with a dwarven team in your league........(Although from the sounds of it, your 1st game went ok against them from the Skink's point of view). But Diving Tackle will come in handy against the woodies and to a lesser extent against the other teams (although DT should be used to restrict their already slow movement, rather than to skink-to-orc/dwarf mark them). Your other skill choices would be good on a normal roll as would catch so you can reroll any hand-offs. If they make it past 31SPPs, then good on them.
And I'd get Break Tackle on your 1st krox/sauri to get a roll-it is very frustrating to have your high MA, high ST players marked out of the game by a lowly lineman, especially as it's unlikely you'll hurt the dwarven blockers or lineorcs that should be doing it. If you need to blitz their ball carrier, a 2+ dodge is likely to work, whilst a 5+ isn't.

Darn... I just can't go against my own nature. I just love playing Elves of all kind. Dodge and pass around all the lousy bashers. All though I liked playing lizzies I can't see myself go on with them.
I think I will re-enter with an elf team instead.
Dammit... Complicating everything by my self. Doesn't even need an opponent.
Ok I like the new DE with the 4 blitzers. But they seem weak with so much AV7.
And then there is my first buy, HE. Much better with 4 catchers. Though still almost as much AV7 as the DE. And with only two Blocks to start with it's a hard team to play (specially against dwarves and orcs). WE is taken so won't go with them.
Maybe the new E? They seem to be good at scoring TDs.
Help me out. Again.
