Stunty Cup seeks host tournaments...

Hi Everyone,

After the success of the Stunty Cup at the Waterbowl (a mini tournament for the mini players there) it's now spread to the Monkey Bowl and the Alba Bowl and I'm wondering if any other tournament organisers would be interested in hosting it at their tournaments.

Following discussion on the general chat forum it looks like Ogres and All Skinks might be getting an invite to the above tournaments - and, what with the 50/50 vote I think it is a good idea if (until more results come in) that the inclusion/exclusion of these teams is up to the hosting tournament. (And that way I get to add in extra pages to my rather small website!)

It's next to no effort/cost (you'd need to buy a mug, I can send pics and links) and it was good fun at the WB. Obviously we're now international (thanks hoomin) but it'd be great to spread the love world-wide...

I am proud to announce that the stunty cuo will be held at this years carrot crunch

where better to have it than somewhere which aptly has the nick name of "hobbiton""

This weekend's spanish tourney (Skull Cup) did it as well, called Mini Skull Cup. I won the trophy with my recovered Burger Fest (Ogre team). So now im seriously thinking of carry the team with me to the UK..so i can play with them around the Stunty Cup tourneys over there :p

@rodders - that's excellent news

, I'll add details to the SC website tonight. Drop me a pm to see if there's anything the SC can do to help out (certificates, images for the obligatory mug...)

@grotuk - bring them over it looks like there's going to be a whole series of Stunty Cups over here this year! (oh, and do you have any pics of your team that I could put up on the website? It looks like Ogres/snotlings are going to be allowed in a number of SCs so they might as well have a presence on the site...

I'll make a new family pic with the new added snotlings. Give me a couple of days

I could add this into the Blood Bowl event at Game 07 in June if I get enough interest but need to understand if players are interested in competing in this up front!

@ Tritex, that'd be cool. If you get enough interest let me know (If you're talking about the Manc event then there's a ready-made audience of quality stunty coaches in Northern Knight and PolarBear (and there's Leip and his gobbos too if quality isn't a criteria

If at least 4 players want to partake I will include it and put up a prize. Maybe not as rich as the main event but certainly worthwhile!
