Forecksians - new team

Post by duff »

Way down to the south a bit to the left lies the last continent - Forecks!

The residents are a strage humanoid species who habitually jump everywhere on their powerful legs. The Menfolk are large. strong and aggressive and train from childhood in unarmed combat. The Women are smaller, slighter and havwe a pouch on their stomach which they use to store all kinds of things, tools, lunch, children, blood-bowl balls etc.
Subadults are basicly all the same, being similar in size to the women. While it took a while for blood bowl to become established in a land with its own sporting traditions, eventually a few enthusiasts managed to get teams together and join the wider competition.

Forecksians
1-12 Joes 7 2 4 7 leap, sprint 60K GA
0-4 Flyers 7 2 4 8 leap, sure hands, sure feet 90K GAP
0-6 Boomers 6 3 3 8 Block, leap, sure feet 100K GA

The Joes may where any couler, but tradition demands the Flyers dress in blue and the Boomers in white

Having played at length with the Slann team being tested for adding to Blood Bowl .... I'm pretty confident in saying that that team would get murdered in league play.

3+ leaps on the agile playes and 4+ leaps on the blockers (means the skill is a paid for skill that adds very little value). Add in the mass ST 2 and you are looking at the long road uphill both ways for this team.

Galak

Where's the boxing skill?

I agree they're prone to become roadkill, all too befitting I guess.

Block!
(maybe should add Mighty Blow?)

Eh, they were in for a laugh.
Add mighty blow and a point of Ag to the Boomers
Sprint to the Flyers
a point of movement to the Joes

Too much?

You're right...
Dropbears should be there,
0-2 dropbears 4 2 3 6 stunty,
Special, dropbears may be placed on the sidelines at setup instead of on the field (still counting toward their 11). They may dropp at any time. The coach chooses the target square, rolls 2 scatter dice and places the drop bear. If they land on an occupied square they must make a Stab attack with +1 on the armor roll vs the landed on player (scattering if the player stays on the field. If they land in an empty square, they may make an immediate Stab attack against any player in their tackle zone

Wizzards, Hmmmm, do you think they should automaticly get one? Perhaps may have 2 on pitch casters if playing with them?

Rincewind? Who's Rincewind :D
Ohhh, He should be on the kick off table, running away across the pitch. Each coach chooses 1 point on the pitch, rolls d6 and moves the point that many squares clockwise. Any player under the pass ruler between the two points is hit by a str 2 block (from the direction of the kicking teams chosen square), followerd by a Str 10, block, tackle, mighty blow (same direction) (luggage).
