Multiple Block in LRB5

In the example involving the elf, the dwarf, and the troll, do the dwarf and the troll give eachother defensive assists?

Yes they would, using the standard assist rules. Dauntless roles are made before assist are added, so if you pass the dauntless roll against the troll you would have 7 ST (the same as the troll before assists) but the troll would have 8 ST because of the assist. Is that clear as mud?
