Failed Bribe Roll - Can it be rerolled?

My opponent rolled a 1 on the bribe roll (he was fouling with Hack N Slash ) and asked the question can he reroll it...

We decided quite amicably no as you can only reroll your own rolls and not other rolls and the ref is considered "outside your team"...

This seems to make sense, but were we correct?

Just to add a little other question.

My secret weapon is knocked out during the game. I fail the KO roll. do I have to roll the bribe roll now to keep my player from being sent off, or can I wait untill he is out of the KO box? (In that case he'll be sent of anyway cause I allways roll a 1.... )

If one has 2 bribes, and fails a bribe roll, can he then use his second bribe roll? (Not a Team Reroll)

Yes, you can use a 2nd (or 3rd) bribe.

@Draco - use a Bribe now, or he's sent off (regardless of which box he's in).
