Oops...for some reason I was thinking 50k rerolls...turns out I'm a big cheater-head.

OK, never mind. I guess I'd downgrade a runner to a 2nd thrower, and give him sure hands.

I think Norse need a 13 man lineup.
They only have AV7 and they use a block intense game. So vs a well armoured bashy team (e.g. dwarves or Orcs) they will loose the game as soon as they get outnumbered....

A good dwarf and orc coach will keep those extra players in the reserve box by grinding out the game anyway, so the advantage of a 13th player is minimal.

wesleytj wrote:13 is too many. 12 is optimal, 11 is unnecessarily risky because your base players are cheap, and you get the 1.1M roster.

Game 1: 2 Ulfs with Block
Game 2: Thrower with Leader
Game 3: Snow Troll with Block
Game 4: 2 Runners with Dodge
Game 5: 1 Berzerker with Juggernaut, other with MightyBlow
Game 6: 2 Line with whatever...Tackle, Pro, Dauntless, depends on likely opponent.
You really need Leader in game one, especially with only 2 RR.

For the 2nd game you only get one skill btw.
If you went with 13 players, you'd have to drop down to either only 1 Beserker or 1 Runner. That'd be a tough call for me.

Since you only get one skill in game 2 (why?), I'd just move everything down one.

I have no idea why to be honest - thats just what I've been told the rules are lol.

I'm seriously tempted to take my dwarves to this instead. Makes team selection and skill selection so much easier!
