2 double skills
4 normal skills

I have gone for
2 x blitzers with dodge
2 x blitzers with frenzy
1 x black orc with grab
1 x lineorc with kick.
I think I would go:
1 Blitzer w/Tackle
1 BOB w/Guard
2 BOBs w/Block
1 Lino w/Kick
1 Thrower w/+AG

Or
1 Troll w/Block
2 BOBs with Guard
2 BOBs w/Block
1 Blitzer w/Dodge

Or
2 Blitzers w/Dodge or 1 w/Dodge, 1 w/+MA
1 Blitzer w/Grab
1 BOB w/Guard
1 Lino w/Kick
1 Thrower w/Accurate

Or
2 Black Orcs w/Guard
2 Blitzers w/Stand Firm
2 Blitzers w/Dodge or Side Step

hi olli

i think you've gone the right way with thinking you need the skills option rather than an upgrade.

the 3 main skills you're going to need are:

block
guard
tackle

so far in the league there's 2 skaven teams, 2 high elf teams, 1 wood elf team, 1 lizardman team, 1 halfling team, 1 dwarf team and your orc team. now just looking at starting teams you've got a lot of dodge to deal with and quick players on alot of the teams (and the high elf teams might not start with dodge but they'll soon get it0.

these 3 skills are so needed and unfortunately you're running way behind the dwarfs on 2 out of those 3 skills so imo you need to catch up. blitzers should skill up relatively quickly but they're speed is useful for assists so guard or tackle would be good for them. block orcs need block, pure and simple. linemen a mixture of all 3.

on a 4 blitzer 3 block orc lineup i'd be tempted with 2 x guard blitzers 1 x tackle blitzer and 3 x block on the block orcs.

my reasoning is 2 guard becasue this is effective against all of the teams you'll face. block because the blockers need it so so much to be halfway near reliable and the 1 tackler to start that ball rolling. predominately use the blitzers to score in the first couple of games and get more tackle then start spreading the td's out to some linemen.

Given that, my recommendations would be:
Blitzer w/Tackle
Blitzer w/Tackle
Black Orc w/Block
Black Orc w/Guard
Black Orc w/Guard
Thrower w/+AG

If you want to run a really solid 3/4 defense:

Blitzer w/Tackle
Blitzer w/Tackle
Black Orc w/Side Step
Black Orc w/Side Step
Troll w/Guard
Thrower w/+AG

Against anyone but Dwarfs, put the rookie BOBs at D-End, sandwiching the Troll. One square out and back (next to the wz, but not in it) go the two Side-Step BOBs and the Tackle Blitzers behind them. Leave two empty spaces going out to the wide zone, then, one square in from the sidelines and one back, put your Blitzer, and right behind him, your Thrower.

You could give Block to a Troll instead of one of those other skills, but I have no idea which one I'd take off. W

I don't think you should give Guard to Blitzers; you need to do too much with them. Black Orcs, on the other hand, will always want to stick in and are very hard to knock down. Those Tackle Blitzers should both get a big workout.

well i will just have to see how it goes. i put my roster in early and there was hardly any teams on the table then. My plan is to kick the sh*t out of the fast teams so i can run in the winning TD in the second half. I think i will do ok once i have the ball it will be hard for some of those soft teams to get it off me, a nice slow jog up field should do the trick.
