Piling On & Mighty Blow
Assuming that you have both skills I'm guessing that you can use mighty blow as normal (add to either armour or injury) but that you also have the opportunity to re-roll either armour or injury by piling on (if the armour/injury roll was too low to break armour/cause injury even with MB)... and can then add you MB to the 2nd roll (providing you haven't used it previously)

well, assuming you followed up and rolled armour.
you do not have to declare Mighty blow usage until after you see the result same as Piling On, if Mighty blow would break AV then fine, if not then pile on and if mighty blow breaks av now then fine, if it doesn't move on.
assuming though that you broke AV first time with Mighty Blow (but didn't declare it) you could pile on and hope to break AV on the rioll alone so that you could apply Mighty Blow to the Injury.
declaration of skill usage seals it imo!
