We've had this come up a couple of times now...
When a secret weapon player is KO'ed during a drive will the ref send him off at the end of the drive? I thought Yes because it states that secret weapons are all automatically sent off at the end of the drive (even if they're KO'ed) although there are some people attempting to use the fact that they're not on the pitch at the end of the drive as a reason for them not being sent off. I thought the ruling was if you take part in the drive you get sent off (unless bribed not to)
If the KO'ed Special Weapon player is sent off at the end of the drive I'm assuming you could use a Bribe to keep him in the KO'ed box (and hope that he comes back into the game in another drive by making it to the reserves box) instead of being sent off.

Yes, if fielded at all will be sent off at the end of the drive/half....
The bribe comes first... then the ko roll....
Happened to our Goblin coach: chainsaw gets ko'd... drive ends... ref properly bribed... Gobbo rolls a "1" and never leaves the ko box....

That pretty much says it all.LRB5 Skills p.47 wrote:Secret Weapon
Some players are armed with special pieces of equipment that are called ‘secret weapons’. Although the Blood Bowl rules specifically ban the use of any weapons, the game has a long history of teams trying to get weapons of some sort onto the pitch. Nonetheless, the use of secret weapons is simply not legal, and referees have a nasty habit of sending off players that use them. Once a drive ends that this player has played in at any point, the referee orders the player to be sent off to the dungeon to join players that have been caught committing fouls during the match regardless of whether the player is still on the pitch or not.
