ST4 Dark Elf Lino, got 5 + 5 on his skill roll, what to get?

I'm not sure what to get the above player. I've already 2 guarders, but a 3rd, ST4 one would be lovely, but I would need to get him block asap. An MA7 St 4 player would be nice-no need for an assist to open up holes and an AV9 St4 player would be good-like a quicker, more agile CW.

Maybe MB?

Or should I just "waste" the roll and go for block?

What should I go for, too many choices.... The rest of the team is a MA8 blodge blitzer, blodge blitzer, blitzer, blodging, side stepping witch, 2 assassins, a kick lino, block + guard lino, guard lino, wrestle dodge lino, wrestle +AG lino and a Strong Arm runner.

Personally I would go for the +AV. Guard is always nice, but you already have 2 of those. Mighty Blow is also tempting, next skill block then.
AV 9 still has a little edge IMO. I wouldn't pass up on the 10 unless it's a short season and the team has less then 10 games ahead of it.

I think I'd go with the AV+ as well. With the ST4, this guy can be expected to be in the mix of things all the time. Once you get him block (something you should make a priority of, as you mention) he'll be a true beast. Guard would be nice too, but really I think I'd go AV9.

Thanks, went for the +AV. Hopefully it'll keep him in the mix, less stuns etc so that he can have more of an influence with his ST4 on the game.

You'll definitely enjoy the benefits of AV9.... Took a Nuffle-blessed 11... 11... 6+8 to finally take out my AV9 Werewolf.... Ahhhh, #%^%&, whaddarya gonna do then?

I would have gone with the +AV as well, 6449 is a pretty impressive statline (Chaos Warrior with +MA and +AG anyone?). I'd certainly consider trying to force score with this guy until he has 31 SPPs (so he can get Block and then be left to develop naturally)
