GFI Leap

Post by stashman »

Tried to search the forum for an answer but I'm not good at this.

So I try to get a straight answer on this question. Ig a player GFI 2 squares of leap and falls at the first attempt, where do the player land? In the starting square or at the landing square. If its in the "middle" square, then lest presume that there is an opponent.

You land in the square you are leaping to (even if you needed 2 GFIs).

I travelling and answering from my cell phone ... but if memory serves me correctly ... there is a FAQ on this on the FAQ page.

I believe Galak is right, you always go down in the square you are travelling to.

Disagree there. When I don't have the rulebook in front of me the odds go up REALLY high on my ability to misremember since I have all the might have been rules, current rules, and discussed new rules in my head at any point in time.

So leaping uses squares of movement like a regular move meaning that you count the leap as movement?

Guess that makes sense, otherwise you'd have gutter runners moving , gfi'ing twice and leaping into the end zone!!

Yep, a leap is always 2 sqs of MA, even if they just leap to an adjacent square.
