Human vs. Chaos Dwarves

Post by harley_topper »

My humans are facing a chaos dwarve team next match. They make a lot of cas in the last games. How can I save my team from getting really hurt.

My team looks like this:
4 Blitzers, one with guard, one with guard and mighty blow
2 catchers, one with block and nerves of steel
1 thrower, with AG4 and Strong Arm
4 lineman, one with block
1 ogre, one with block
3 Re-Roles
9 FF
my opponents have 3 RR and FF5
they have 4 times guard, two bull centaures (both guard and one break tackle)
they crush every team in our league but don't win the matches

I hope to win, but I'm not sure how to save my important players

any good advice how to win and save the important players

Stay away from the Chaos Dwarves.

If you can get rid of the Hobgobs then your task will be much easier. Also Pin the BC without Break tackle, preferably with a Blodger.

Well as a choas dwarf player on occasion, i can inform you its a pain playing with hobgoblins, its even worse if my opponent gets them off the pitch. Like ian said try to pin down the bull centaur, cause mine tend to rampage and are great at turning over the ball. They don't start with block though, so put a blitzer against them to give you the block skill advantage, wouldn't recommend your catcher even with blodge ;]

good luck

they have a minotaurus without any skills (only the skills he is starting with).
my idea was to get my ogre in front of the mino to cause some turnovers
(my ogre has block).
is this a good idea?

Yes! 1 die blocks that he can't reroll - he wont have a turn 4/9 of the time (he has to follow and make the 2nd block) well worth the 4/9 chance of you getting put down.

If you can't get the Ogre there stick a Blitzer next to the Mino. WA is a complete pain until he's got block.

If you can swarm the mino so he only has 1/2 die blocks available.

Otherwise use Blitzers to mark the BC without break tackle.

When I played my homicidal CD team, the one thing my opponents always did was a weak LOS.

Have your catchers placed near your blitzers all the time, because that's what I'd go for if I was the CD. Have a linemen ready to pin the BC as they come closer to you and keep scoring.

Take out the hobgoblins early, they only have AV7, and aren't fast with MA6. Most of all though, get ready to lose those linemen on the LOS. For humans, I think their like 50k, so you freeboot some spare one's to place there.
