No, I used daft correctly (although completely in jest), I just misread your original post

. You were talking about snotlings knocking down the Count with 100% certainty... so I thought you were joking. However, somebody actually suggested a rule where such a thing was possible on the previous page...

You were making a serious point, but it was so humorous I thought you were joking. Hence I tried to add to the humor... but I guess if you have to explain a joke...

What you seem to forget is that in typing words, you can't always see what is in jest and what is not. that is also why I challenged your post, to make this clear.

Also realise that this is an international forum. Some of us might be able to type English, but that does not mean they get everything that is meant in jest.

. It makes all that much difference. In your last post I've seen you can use them, so keep that up please.

BTW this does not only concern you. there are more people around here who say things in a "jest" but fail to mark it as one.

And in this case, my jest was very poorly marked! I have to admit I just skimmed the post, saw you talking about Snotlings and the Count and just assumed you were joking.

I can't blame context or culture- just a bit of alchohol and personal laziness

But for the record, I agree with your point on etiquette, and will do better in the future... maybe even reading for a few seconds before posting.
