hmmm ive not played woodelf teams but i think there are some threads regarding this already.

catchers i would be tempted to give block because at st2 blodge comes in very handy i would guess

the wardancer strip ball, tackle +ag is nice, though i would look for some other threads for more experienced wood elf tips ;]

Depends on what you roll and what you are aiming for.

Assuming normal skill rolls (stats upgrades you'll most likely just accept, doubles you'll just be picking out of a couple traits generally) the catcher I would give block. You might also think about giving him sprint, in case he gets +MA later to make him a 1-turn score threat, but I'd prefer doing that in the reverse order - wait to see if someone gets +MA and then give them sprint for the next skill. I wouldn't give him much else, because I don't foresee him using much else effectively. Sidestep after Block would be useful, you could even give him sprint then and put him right on the edge of the end zone - and if your opponent fails to knock him over with a blitz, it's a TD for you.

As for the Wardancer, he already has the two most obvious skills (block and dodge) which means you can give him something interesting - I generally prefer sidestep, but you can also make cases for tackle, diving tackle, strip ball, and shadowing.

As for doubles, I'd think about Nerves of Steel for the catcher, and Dauntless for the Wardancer. Though I'd rather have it on a lineman, I'd also consider Guard, which I find to be one of the most useful skills in the game.

Also, of course, depends on how you are playing your team, and how you're using them.

Oh, and the last thing I would add is not to take diving catch with your catcher - I know some people who do that. With AG4 you'll only ever have a 1/6 chance (at highest) of throwing an inaccurate pass, because unless you fail with a modified 2+, it'll be a fumble if you fail. And with Wood Elves' speed, you should never be needing to throw an HMP.

These type of questions should be placed in the "team development" section. This forum is for asking questions about skills/traits not what to take...

Just something to remember further on. I'm not trying to be mean or sour or anything, just making a note

If one of the "barons" read this they would just write with these types of letters and probably *sigh*... :D

Darkson, no one would think of you as a squire, maybe a lackey, but not a squire, so no need to worry. OOPs sorry, didn't mean that, don't let the barons get me

Getting back on topic, to Vesticle's idea, i would still be willing to give sprint b4 ma. Probably after block, but i would think it useful, both if your league has the new kicking rules and since u may get a bonus from the kickoff table.

*Bows*
*walks backwards for 2 steps*
*Bows again*
*leaves the presence of the awesome and mighty Barons of TBB*
