I like it (I suggest a 4+ roll.) It beats the other suggestions because it doesn't have to answer the question "What happens if players on both sides of the pitch have the skill?"
Throw this sucker in General, and it's a good skill.
Note, if this skill was capped at one per team (meaning that even if more than one player had the skill, only one player per turn could use it) and I don't even think it requires a dice roll.
If multiple players can use it, I suggest a 4+, otherwise it is a risk free GFI.

Hmm, so I run my ballcarrier down my opponents backfield in the second last turn of the half, he goes for it twice but is still outside possible scoring range even with two gfis. Then I take an expendable lino and makes impossible dodges till he gets tripped over. Now I move my insight ball carrier one space closer to the endzone. He is now in scoring range. Voila!

My opponents ballcarrier is one square too far away from my nearest player. But my player has insight! I move him as far as he can go. Then I again take an expendable lino and goes dodge prancing till I cause a turnover. Add in whatever nasty skills you like on my insight player.
I have to sacrifice another player to get this skill to fire, but if it can win me the game?

1) a player carrying the ball cannot use the skill! At the end of your turn but before the start of your opponent's turn this player can freely move 1 square if he is not in an opponent's tackle zone or holding the ball. The free move can be used to enter an opponent's tackle zone.
2) the skill can be used at the end of your turn, after all your players have moved, but before your opponents turn begins. So you don't need to force a turnover to make it work.

Still open to abuse if you would otherwise be out of scoring range, as you could move that extra square to be within scoring range in the hope of recieving the ball. Sould be abused like that, but TBH not a real issue as it's uncommon enough a situation i think.TuernRedvenom wrote:1) a player carrying the ball cannot use the skill! At the end of your turn but before the start of your opponent's turn this player can freely move 1 square if he is not in an opponent's tackle zone or holding the ball. I think it's fine on multilple players. It's a conditional point of MA. Players end up in TZs quite often IIRC.Jural wrote:If multiple players can use it, I suggest a 4+, otherwise it is a risk free GFI.

My response was mostly aimed at the post suggesting to make it only usable after a turnover. But yes I missed the part about it not being usable by the ballcarrier. However, it is golden on a frenzy player. I just blocked you out over the sidelines and now I just neatly step back out. Or I just knocked you prone and now I move back into the fray.
