My best player Goblin with 8 xp

My dear Looping (taken from the name of the lunatic guy in the french version of the A-Team) got his first skill last night with 8 xp points.

I rolled a double and i took..........a DEATH ROLLER!!!!!!!!!

(it cost me 180 000

you don't see ST 7 gobs everyday.

I guess it's the only one i'll ever see

Yeah! in our league, you're allowed to take one weapon, and only one, in your team on a double plus the cost of the weapon. the player looses all his skills and can't get no more as he is absorbed by the training needed to use his weapon.

i was thinking of hail mary pass as well, or even pass, combined with dive is great. on the other side i had saved money just for the death roller. and i won't have to worry too much for my LOS for 1 drive. it allows me to take out some players from my oppenent team. just what i need with my dogy gobs

i'm proud to have given a new dimension to the gobelin cage

and why take vicious player when you get +6 on AV roll for fouling with death roller?

anyway my goblins were so excited getting that steaming rolling calamity that i couldn't refuse. as long as he doesn't kill his teammates for fun!

We have the same rules in our league, and my hafling just got a chainsaw.
When he finally got on pitch he was unable to start the damn thing (those damn 3'ers on a d6), and when the first TD came he was sent off without being able to use his chainsaw at all...

But I like your goblin there, you need the old DR and place a goblin on the seat for this mini that would be great!

that's what my goblins had to play with in their craddle.

It's hard enough to stop them from using a rino or a tank.
Maybe a titan would be nice. you score in one turn on 15 fileds at the same time while you nuke all the teams.

I tend to use the Advanced Squad Leader figs, scale is about right.

Though I find the look on their faces when I bring out the official "toad" figure can cause the opposing coach to worry. Now all I need is a Storm Giant for a coach and it will be perfect.

Latest update for the TBBF, the Goblins are again serious contenders,
seems being forced to take a lot of Diving tackle messes up agile teams.
