Question on Mighty Blow?

Salutations Readers,

Simple question for you.

If I Block and roll "Attacker Down" can my opponent use his Mightly Blow skill on the Armour/Indury roll?

In has come up in a game I am playing and I thought they could only use the skill on their own turn.

"Mighty Blow (Strength)
Add 1 to any Armour or Injury roll made by a player with this skill when an opponent is Knocked Down by this player during a block. Note that
you only modify one of the dice rolls, so if you decide to use Mighty Blow
to modify the Armour roll, you may not modify the Injury roll as well.
Mighty Blow cannot be used with the Stab or Chainsaw skills."

I say yes and have ruled in our league that this can happen! The opponent has been knocked down by the player with mighty blow!

The situation came up in a game between Marlow and me, btw.

The question has been answered already, but I want to add some more evidence. Take a look at the description of the block result "Skull":

LRB 5 wrote:ATTACKER DOWN: The attacking player is
Knocked Down.

So the defending player has knocked down the attacking player. And since you've rolled a block die, it's been during a block. Therefore, both requirements for using the Mighty Blow skill have been fullfilled.

So the same is true with my Wolves Claws skills? If the opponent knocks themselves down I only need 8+ to get through armour.

I think my wolves may have missed out on inflicting some pain! Never mind at least I know for next time.

Add MB with claws and you will find players running away!

yes, with my chaos team, i have a couple guys with the Claws / MB setup, and people hate those guys... they hate them so much, that in our store league, there's a bounty on Norfin's head...

seeing as one ogre team induced Morg n' Thorg... and Norfin killed him...

not just casultied.... he flat out 68'd him...
