Chaos Question

Post by erikj8 »

I just finished a game where my Chaos team- 3 CW 9 Beast ended with three casualties against, all beastmen. One Badly Hurt, one MNG and one -1 MA,so that's 2 MNGs right?
I was thinking I should sack the -1 MA plus MVP (grr!) and use the 70k I got for the tie on a new beastman. Other option is a Journeyman right? Thereby banking the 70 or getting an apoth, or something else, any ideas? No one on my team skilled up.

Next game is against Halflings, whew!

Don't kick the player with -1 MA. With 5 spps he only need a comp to get a skill and then decide if you shall keep him.

And thats 2 MNG.

Buy an apo now. Having a Journeyman for your next game is possibly an advantage, as you can stick him on the LoS and let him die.

Or if he does well (or steals a MVP) you can buy him at the end of the match...

-MA isn't tha big a problem... You don't need big MA on the LoS. Keep him for sure!

if you need to tie up the trees then your journeymen will do the job nicely.

If it was one of your ball carriers, then the -MA would be pretty bad. But as you are starting-out, and he has an MVP, keep him for line duty. Give him blocker skills, and keep him on the line. Once you don't need journeymen, he gets to babysit big guys and such.

He gets skills like block, guard, mighty blow, claw, piling on. You don't MA5 is good enough for his job.

Close, it's better to give -MA Beastmen lineman duties. As such Block and Guard are the first two skills for sure, but Stand Firm, Tackle and Prehensile tail/Diving Tackle are better than MB+Claw+PO. You really want a MA6 Beastman for PO duties if at all possible, instead the skill choices I've proposed are used for getting next to players, assisting blocks and keeping opposing players pinned in place for others to hit.
