Discuss Fantasy football-style board games - GW's Blood Bowl, Impact!'s Elfball, Privateer Press' Grind, Heresy's Deathball, etc. THIS IS NOT AN NFL FANTASY FOOTBALL SITE!
Hmmmm...
All I know is my chosen team are Orcs, and Id like to play them as bashy as possible, which I feel is in keeping with Orcs
So if ACs and CLs are less important at the start, and my team aint looking to score alot I reakon I should keep them to a basic 2 or 3.

I'd take 0 or 1 of each. After you have 1 of each, I'd be inclined to keep any extra cash to get a head start for your next purchases.
I've done some basic analysis on FF, and if you expect a .500 record, then the financial return is pretty poor. Even with FF0 will catch up to FF9 after about 16 games.
AC/CL are probably a better use of an outstanding 10k/20k at team start up. I wouldn't start with more than 1 of each with anything other than halflings. 30k/40k is normally enough to upgrade a lineman to a positional, and 50k+ is extra player/reroll time.
Im gona go with one of each for now. Even if I dont use em... they still make the team seem more complete in the model sence.
Ive already got a nice AC model done and Im gona use the tried n tested method of stickin boobs on a savage orc shaman for my CL
My boys can spend the money they've saved on bigger steel toecapz n spikier nukkle dustaz
