3 Cheerleaders and 3 Asst. Coaches to try and guarantee the win for extra re-rolls as with just one on this team ... you are going to be seriously hurting.

I would change some of your pile on to break tackle and strong arm

If you can have +1AG i would buy that for a snot or an ogre.

Good Luck :smoking:

Don't think you need 6 ogres - you will run out of snots to carry the ball and run it in. 4 maybe, then some rerolls?

Leader is good, Break Tackle is essential to keep the ogres on the move, Strong Arm is nice but it depends how often you want to throw.

Maybe sprint on a snot?

Questions:
1) Can you buy stat increases?
2) Are you limited to one increase per guy?
3) Is there a limit on number of increases of any type? Say, can you take a bunch of Block? Snotlings with Block are nothing to sneeze at (though I could imagine they might be in trouble against a Sneeze skill), and four of them plus a pair of Ogres with Guard can hold down almost any offense.

Assuming no to all:

4x Snot w/Block: 25
1x Snot w/Leader: 5
3x Ogre w/Guard: 48
2x Ogre w/Block: 34
3x Snot: 6
1x RR

Doesn't work as well against Elves as it does when PEs do it (damn that Titchy biz), but it should hold Humans or other AG3 mobility teams down nicely. Theorybowl....

I think that's a pretty good setup, Matt, but he'll find two spare snots go fast....

In our last league, the Ogre team was giving up 4-6 casualties 'gainst bashers and High Elves....

Could still be rough going....

An Ogre with Guard trades for a Snot with a doubles skill, two rookie Snots, and a Re-Roll. You still have 4 Ogres, but your Snots will take more hits because your opponent will be able to hit them at the line (3 Ogres clustered at the line aren't exactly injury-prone).

I'd buy sure hands for an ogre and some block. don't buy skills for snots, it's a waste.

I agree, and leader should be a no-brainer!
