"Last Skill" for a Skaven Blitzer

Post by stashman »

I have a skaven blitzer soon to get his 5th skill.

Zork Spikefist
7 3 3 9 Block, Guard, Mighty Blow, Grab

On a double I will probably choose Dodge or Claw. On a normal I was thinking Stand Firm.

What can you guys give for advice for that last skill.

And I don't have a Rat Ogre and the TV is high - 234.

Can't get Frenzy. Tackle is ok, esp. if you don't have any other Block/Tackle and there's a lot of Dodge, but Stand Firm combines very well with what he's got. On doubles, get Claw unless you're worried about low-armor speed teams, in which case you should get Side Step. Any stat increase is a good one, but only +ST screams out "take me!" On dbl 5, I'd treat it as doubles for sure.

What is Nuffle's view? Through a window, two-by-three. He peers through snake eyes.
What is Nuffle's lawn? Inches, squares, and tackle zones: Reddened blades of grass.
What is Nuffle's tree? Risk its trunk, space the branches. Touchdowns are its fruit.

How much Dauntless do you have on your team?

(And I thought LRB5 had gone back to 6 skills?)

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

grab and frenzy = no/no.

That gives the edge to tackle in my mind.
But I do hear dauntless if there are lots of big guys running about in the league.

As for the Rat Ogre, leave him dead. They are not worth the TV.

Side step. This will help others with his guard skill and he will also be able to go near to the side lines without being pushed out. :D

As for the rat ogre, it all depends on how many games you have left with this team. If its only a few i would leave it out but if you are going to have a lot more game i may consider it. :D

We play season after season. We play in diffrent divisions so it's not based on time/matches.

Black Orcs, Chaos Warriors etc are the stronger ones.

I like these suggestions.

Piling On as he has the AV to play.
Tackle to pick on Catchers but you have a lot of Wrestle.
Dauntless to give you a big guy hitter (great with Claw obviously).

No original ideas here I'm afraid.
