There is a "big match" aspect that affects many competitions where some coaches really play quite badly in "big matches" whilst doing well at other times.
What makes a good player?

What is Nuffle's view? Through a window, two-by-three. He peers through snake eyes.
What is Nuffle's lawn? Inches, squares, and tackle zones: Reddened blades of grass.
What is Nuffle's tree? Risk its trunk, space the branches. Touchdowns are its fruit.

Well, I think that being healthy helps being a better coach, like in any other activity. Eat carrots and celery instead of chips and dip when playing, and I bet you that you'll do better. And after 3 beers, you may want to stop.FischerKing wrote:I think they might have confused good with funnyThis topic was about good COACHING, not polite behaviour or a healthy approach to life

I think the pounding headache is keeping me focused on the game, and perhaps the beer activates more braincells (after the beer killed more than the double

Now THAT would be an interesting study: How the fear and survival of the brain cells vs the beer molecules (on the molecular/cellular level) translates into dice rolls and successful Go For Its on the macro level....Xod wrote:I have the habit of (almost always) being drunk on the second day, and by some reason, it makes me play better.![]()
