I wouldn't fire the "thrower".
I think the best bets for dumping are the AV7 Wrestle, MA5 Wrestle and MA5 Block.
You don't have to fire them all but I think a developed DE team like this could survive with 13 quite happily. Especially with the mid price stars or mercs available.

Sure, I could go for that. An Executioner with 5 4 4 8, block, dodge, chainsaw. I don't see the problem.prisma wrote:Hmmm, the dark elf chainsaw starplayer or what ?whitetiger wrote: And somebody, please, somebody, talk Galak into getting Dark Elves some Executioners so we can really wreck some mayhem.

It's a Dark Elf world, we just let you live in it to provide fresh victims. - and I still want an Executioner to kill sauruses with.

Can you imagine the look on a Chaos coach's face if a Dark Elf with a chainsaw came flying over his line? I'd pay big money to see that.
Does put a whole new meaning on "cut a hole in the defensive line", don't it?

Kick is a great skill for DE. Place the ball where you want it, then race the opposition to the ball. Goes very well with my basic philosophy of playing any elf race: They're always on offense, no matter who kicks off.

Not kick. Definitely not kick. Give kick to a lino.
You still have lots of options.
Leap and Strip Ball are both good choices. These may go better on your other witch though.
Dauntless, Fend, Pro, Sure Feet are also good choices.
Which one of the above you pick depends on you opponents, and how you plan to develop your other players.

Agree with Cramy. Kick is a great skill for a line elf, a bad one for a witch. She needs skills that maximize what she does, not "support" skills.
His list of skill choices are good, my personal picks would be Dauntless or Leap, and Juggernaut on Doubles. I have a Juggernaut witch and she's great. Using that Pow/Skull to keep a frenzy going is worth it alone.
I wouldn't have put Wrestle on a Witch though - she's begging to get fouled. I know you have Jump Up but you have to make it back to your turn to use it!
I also wouldn't develop a runner with the specific purpose of making him the "bait". You don't want to just LET people pound on an AV7 guy, sans block and dodge, all the time. DumpOff is meant to be an "emergency only" skill, not a part of the developed game plan.
And Dark Elves don't need an "executioner" or anything else. We have more than enough position players and variety of lineups as is. It's already possible to field 11 standard players and only one line elf (2 we, 4bl, 2as, 2ru, 1li), few other teams can say that, and no other elf team.
Now, if you wanted to do this as a replacement to the assassin, I might listen to that. But the DE roster was just overhauled for the last LRB, I doubt that will happen again in the near future. It's playable, it's fun, it's unique from the other elves, just leave it alone.

Kick is a waste (lino skill) as others have said.stashman wrote:Witch Elf: Block, Tackle, Side Step (37 spp)
What should be the next skill.
Is Kick a waste on the witch elf?
On a double I will probably take Mighty Blow or Juggernaut.
On a normal roll I just don't know, thats why I think KICK.
Where I offer something original is a normal skill roll.
Diving Tackle
Synergy with Side Step, Tackle & Jump Up.
Makes her even more of a pain of for an opposing cage.
And she can't always be the one to Blitz. So make her a marker as well.
