if you want to take the doubles, I would take extra arm. catch passes at (0)+ "makes" him quite a pro elven catcher. And he would be a better ball recoverer and interceptor.
I would not take the doubles and put jump or wrestle.

In the last league I played in, my GR with Two Heads was a godsend! And he wasn't half as skilled as yours. Foul Appearance might also be fun.
On a non mutational front - what about NOS?

I think you're right, Dave, you can't beat a blodger! But (Dutch) Dave wants something more entertaining (he specified not block).

Juggernaut. All the better for smashing your way past Elves to score touchdowns.
Though personally I'd think Leap would be better (even though it's not a double). Or Very Long Legs if you think you can skill him up again quickly for Leap.
Or Dump Off maybe. Would be very frustrating for an opponant...

Yeah, but that's only a 1 in 6 chance. Not brilliant, and of no use when you're the one blocking.
And I'm thinking that, tactically, Dump Off would be the best option. Because the Gutter Runner is already pretty tough your opponant would probably have to put several players onto him at once to attempt a block or blitz. And then you can just toss the ball away to another waiting Gutter Runner who is then completely safe to run for the End Zone next turn!
Though there is a small chance they'll intercept it. But 1 in 6 is decent odds.

I am very well aware of the fact that block is by far the best skill to choose and that (with AG5) leap is a pretty decent second.
I just don't like (roleplay kinda vieuw) to turn down the opportunity of something that'll make an opponent go ..
what?
he'll get two heads and rely on dodging into cages.
next skill (76 spp's IIRC) will be block .. maybe
