I have 70.000 GP 6 Skinks and 5 Sauri. 3RR and 7 FF after my first game.
What would you do after the next game ( Khemri )?
Take the six Saurus and an apo ( if there are enough GP ), or waiting for the Kroxigor?
The first skill i gave to a skink was sure feet ( i failed three times the GFI in my first game ), but is this the best for skinks?
And on my sauri i decide to take block and then mighty blow.
Please help me.
And how to play against 4 Mummies ( one with Multiple block ). One of the Blitz-Ra´s has takle.
Thanks for helping.

Hi there!
Khemri is one of the worst opponents for early Lizzies, I am sorry to say.
But first things first; skills.
I am a big fan of Diving Tackle on the Skinks, makes them really annoying. Otherwise go Jump Up or Side Step (I dont really like Side Step in PBEM games though). Catch and Sure Feet are nice too, but usually I try to hand off or pass as little as possible, and MV 8 is usually enough for me. On double rolls take Sure Hands if you dont have a lot of rerolls. Otherwise both Wrestle and Block are obvious choices, but dont rule out Strip Ball and Hail Mary Pass!
For the Sauri, make sure to get a Breack Tackler to stay mobile. FOr the others, Block, then some Guard, Tackle and Mighty Blow. A Frenzier can be nice (with Juggernaut). Ignore doubles.
I would first get the 6th Saurus. The Krox is nice, but first you need the Sauri so you can (try to) skill them. The Krox has Mighty Blow already, so it will be easier for him to get CAS.
Against the Khemri. Stay away from the Tackler with the Skinks. If he is down, foul him. He is the main threat. Try to gang up on the Mummies, but that will be hard, as you dont have Block or Guard.
Good luck!

Don't wait for the Kroxigor. He's a neat little extra, but you absolutely want to have 6 Sauri and an apo.
Generally, I have 3 types of Skinks:
The first Skink with a double will be my pick-up Skink. Sure Hands, and thereafter Sure Feet and Sprint (or Block in case of another double).
Then I have those with Catch and Sure Feet, perfect for giving and receiving hand-offs.
And there are those with Side Step and Diving Tackle. Perfect for harassing your opponents Catchers/Stuntys, and driving him crazy in general.
Normally, I have only 1 pick-up Skink and the rest is 50/50 of those other 2 types. More than 2 skill ups won't happen very often, so I don't plan much into their future.
As for the Sauri, you have to mix their skills. The first skill up should be Block, Frenzy or Break Tackle. Some good choices for seconday skill ups are Block (for those who didn't take it as their first skill), Tackle, Guard or Mighty Blow.
Kroxigor should be Guard and Stand Firm, unless he manages a double.
Some word of advice against those Khemri: Normally, he will play Skink hunt with his Blitz-Ra's and block your Sauri with his Mummies. There's not much you can do against the Mummies. Don't be afraid of multiple block, just don't give him the opportunity to use it against your Skinks. It's not very effective against your Sauri (at least when playing LRB 5). Consider 1 die blocks with your Sauri against the Mummies after all other things have been done. Even a both down isn't that bad, you've got AV9 to stand against his Mighty Blow. All other results (except for the Skull, of course) are very acceptable for your team. Try to spread your Sauri. They have ST4 for sure, but they have MA6, too. You'll be much faster than your opponent, even with your slowest players. Try to bind 2 Mummies with only 1 of your Sauri, so you have the numerical advantage against his other players. And remember: In dire times, the 5+ Saurus dodge may be a very potent weapon. If you could do 2 dice blitz against the ballcarrier with a single Saurus dodge, try it ! It's over 50% with a Reroll, and it may be your chance to win the game.
One of the most important things: Keep your Skinks alive ! Free 3 dice blocks with the Mummies are a big "No No !". Keep them at least 4 squares away from the Mummies (unless it's tactical necessary not to do so), if he likes to blitz them with Mighty Blow, he's got to roll some GFI's at least. But from my experience, those Blitz-Ra's will be the real problem (especially the one with Tackle). Try to get him down with your Sauri every time possible. Even consider a foul (with at least 3 assists) with one of your Skinks, but only try this once at the beginning of the game.
As for yourself, try to hunt down those Blitz-Ra's and Throw-Ra's. Skelletons aren't worthy target for your Blitz action, and those Mummies requre too much resources most of the time. Only hit them when you've got the chance to get some players free.
But I won't lie to you: When those Mummies start to hit hard against your Sauri, you could loose this game without any chance of changing the result. With 2 Sauri KO'ed or worse, it's game over most of the time.
Edit: I didn't read Brokje's advice when making my post. It's nice to read some similiar opinion out there.

I could take for 80.000 GP inducements.
I´m thinking of a Bloodwaiser Babe.
In my first game against undead ( i won 2:1 ), there were 3 sauri and 3 skinks in the k.o. box and only one of each came back ( throw always a 3 and two 4 ). So i think a babe could bring me back more of them, especially against Khemri.

I think that your only choices are the Bloodweiser Babe or the chainsaw star player (unless you're using Special Play cards). Bloodweiser Babes are usually worthwhile against bashy teams like Khemri - as you said, it's nice to be able to get out of the KO box.
I would seriously consider hiring the chainsaw player though - he'll only play a single drive, but since Khemri players usually take a long time to bash their way down the field, it gives you a decent chance of putting a Mummy or two into the KO box. If nothing else, it will make him spend a couple of blitzes trying to take out a 'free' player instead of hurting your Skinks.

don't worry about the Multiple block on the mummy unless he has players with guard.
Early in the game, I think I'd go after the mummies a little bit. Use a sauri for the hit with some assists from another sauri and a skink. Knock a couple down and see how it feels. And maybe get one or two off the pitch.
You definately want to go after his throw-ra and blitz-ras. If you can take a couple of them out of the game, you'll probably win. Chase them the entire game. Don't let a turn go by that you don't hit them.
As for developement. Block, block, block on those sauruses. That's the first thing I'd give all of them. Then mix it up with guard, mighty blow, stand firm and break tackle.
And definately buy the other sauri first. Then a couple more skinks, cause those little guys die. The Krox can wait.

It's a Dark Elf world, we just let you live in it to provide fresh victims. - and I still want an Executioner to kill sauruses with.

Break Tackle should be either your first or second saurus skill. Sometimes (read: every second turn) you'll need to blitz a break-away player, but all your sauruses are always in TZs (because that's where you want them). You'll need BT to make that block. It'll still be a 2d block, you can get Block on the BTer next. You just can't afford to go too long without BT.

I would take two saurus with Break Tackle before taking Block.
Unless you feel like mobbing the player you need to blitz with three or four skinks just to get a 2D block.
And I would advise against getting a Krox until you get all saurus & an apoth.

Thanks for your answers.
I won 1:0 and Cas 1:1. I made the TD in turn 8 of second half.
2 Sauri and 3 skinks were in the K.O. Box, but Nuffle was with me. The skink with the ball was putting in the crowd from a Blitz-Ra, the ball is laying in the endzone of the Khemri, my only skink who can take the ball is laying down, but with MA 8 and sure feet no Problem.
Thanks a lot.
I take the six sauri and the apo.
