Tactics vs Team Development
Is there anyway we can split these two into there own forum. No offense intended, but I sometimes get tired of seeing the "What shall I give X for his Y skill. I'd like to have a forum started with the emphasis being on tactics. There seems to be enough of both posted that would make it viable.
Just a thought. And my thoughts are often in left field.

I'd love to have separate forums for the two. It's kind of odd asking for cheesy player names and debating the merits of asymmetric LOS formations in the same forum, when there's a distinction made in the forums between new concepts, house rules and rule suggestions for official changes.

I don't think that's a big problem. My gut tells me "tactics," as inducements are usually not strongly related to development per se, but if somebody asked an inducement question in the other forum, nobody'd mind, and probably nobody'd miss it.Duke Jan wrote:So inducement choices, wheree do they go?
I propose they be named Tactics and Strategy, and Teams and Team Development. I'll come up with a subtext blurb after work if no-one else does.
In the read-me for TTD, there should be a note that new team races belong in New Concepts, and that bragging about how cool your team is should at least be kept in the context of some other discussion.

I don't really have a problem with them being in the same forum, but I do understand how it would especially help newer folks on here. Just put a sticky under the forum heads to clarify what should go where.

Thanks for the thoughts on this topic, I like the names and ideas discussed by matt, I'll throw my weight (quite expansive) behind it. I'd throw my influence too, but it doesn't exsist.mattgslater wrote:I propose they be named Tactics and Strategy, and Teams and Team Development.
