Longbombs on 2+

Post by stashman »

Have to ask so I am right on this.

If a AG5 player with Accurate and Strong Arm throws a longbomb it will succed on 2+ and only fumble on a 1.

Am I right?

Sounds right to me - the two skills cancel out the -2 modifier for the pass.

Yep. -2 for the long boom, +1 for accurate, +1 for strong arm. 5 AG normally needs a 2 to succeed.

Aye. Also remember that a players agility has absolutely nothing to do with his fumble rates.
A treeman with accurate and strong arm also only needs a 2 to not fumble the long bomb. Although it probably wont be all that accurate

Just make sure you have a big gang of Halflings waiting downfield all with Diving Catch. They'll catch it :D

Though actually getting a gang of Halflings down the pitch is another matter entirely...

Getting halflings downfield is what accurate, strong arm treemen are for.

So all halfings need is:

At least 2 Diving Catch guys in the back field and a doubles treeman with the ball.

They obviously need nerfing...

Still thing we need a new Skill "Diving Catch Team Mates" to "help" nearby landing friends... :)

And i want to be allowed to make more then 1 pass action with TTM... I mean my trees dont run around with 9 living missiles and only being allowed to throw one per turn
