I know that when I face a dump off playing style, the dump off player tends to pass in alot of tacklezones ;)

yep, Fisherking, I believe that. And I also believe I'd paint a target the size of Switzerland on that Wardancer. lol

Nerves of Steel is a good combo skill, and a good skill for a surprise receiver. If you get two of them, go Pass-Accurate-SH (or SH-Pass-Accurate) with one, and NoS-Dodge-SH with the other. I'd be tempted to hold off on SH with this particular team until improvement #3, because you're loaded with TRRs.

Oh, and 14 players. If you're fielding 2 Runners, 2 Witches and no Assassins, then that's 10 AV8 guys.

Yeah, if there was a developed Skaven team, another elf team, especiall a Wood Elf team (or Slann) I would really worry. But this league is almost all bash (Nurgle, Dwarves, Chaos at similar TV, Khmeri, Orcs at lower TV, and my games against Skaven and humans are finished (neither is likely to make the playoffs.)

Interestingly enough, my next game is against a developed Vampire Squad... That team would be nice to have a better runner... But seeing as the runner didn't skill up after his first game, he is what he is.

But how is that different from the general rule of life for my wardancers? My very charming though slightly egocentric personality further assures that my leaguemates given the chance will foul, crowdsurf or in any other way try to hurt my players out of principle, be it turn 1 or 16 ;) I dont worry too much though, switzerland is such a small country ^^

Stay away from the Vamps and just run and gun the whole game. Short passes, lots of hand offs, use your speed.

Well, Fischerking, I personally think that Wardancers ought to be modeled with a huge target on them. Just the general principle of it all.

Just wanted to point out another good thing for the AG5 guy, if you stand him near your runner he's really good at catching that dump off.

NOS over pass or accurate for my Runner but only cause I like people to attack him. I tempted them into hitting the runner with do-able but ambisous plans.

I feel stupid, but three games with my runner and I haven't used the AG 5 guy like that yet :( Of course I haven;t used Dump Off at all, but this rather good idea had not occurred to me! Thank you!

(Yes, I once played 3 consecutive halves in the rain without using my AG 5 player to try and pick up the ball... I really am half blind to the good effects of AG 5 on my Dark Elf team.)

S'alright. As the third skill of Blood Bowl (after risk management and space management), resource management sometimes seems to get short shrift. So you wouldn't be the first one to make suboptimal use of an improvement.

Jural, I've had 5AG linemen more than once on my Dark Elf teams. I love them. Leap, baby, leap. Get out of any spot on a 2+. Catch the ball in traffic. Dodge about anywhere. He basically ignores the first tackle zone for anything he does. He is always a threat, so you can use him to fake out your opposition as to what you're really gonna do. And then if that jams up, pop the ball across the field to him.

I've had 2 on a team together before. Put them in a wide zone on offense and leap them over the opposition line and take off down field, then use a blitzer and a witch elf to blow a hole in the opposite wide zone, run a few players through it and then run the ball right at that hole. Now what are they gonna do?

I've had AG 5 linemen, blitzers and Witch Elves, all on previous teams. Leap was always the first choice after AG 5! Going to any square on a 2+ is insane, and defenses often can't contend with the player, or overcommit to stopping him!

Just one more AG 4 leaper on the team means the other team's backfield is ripe for the picking... or their end zone.

But this is the first time I've gotten AG 5 on a player so developed (that was the third advance...) So unfortunately Leap remains a distant hope for the player :)

It seems to be a blind spot I have with AG5. I'm so used to AG 3, I think of AG 4 as being able to do everything on a 2+...

I use my AG 5 for leaps and dodges, but I just haven't been using this player for ball handling very much. Partially because he has wrestle, and partially because I want to spread the ball around.

But he needs to be put in better places to use his +AG, I'll admit that. Right now he is the swingman in my cage on offense, who either gets to difficult positions to cut down on defensive angles, or breaks away from the play to be a viable downfield scoring threat. On defense he plays near the scrum as well, moving outside and using the opportunity to slip into the backfield if things go wrong for my opponent.

I don't see the problem with how you're using him now with the skill set he has. He can get in the way of most players and use his wrestle skill if he needs to, or take off for the TD threat. On defense, once again, he can get in people's way and take them down, or he dodges into their backfield and creates a headache. You could dodge him into ackward places in order to give an assist on a block as well.

Or dodge into a cage and Wrestle the ball free for someone else to catch, maybe?

Though expect one hell of a fouling from your opponant if you do, so many not the best idea...
