Wizard says:

Fireball: Choose a target square anywhere on the pitch. Roll one
dice to hit each standing player (from either team) that is either in
the target square or a square adjacent to it.

Lightning Bolt: Pick a standing player anywhere on the pitch,
and roll one dice.

With this it's not leagal to hit a prone player. Maybe you just wan't a great player of the field and it's your last chance to hit the player, that uses jump-up and the ball is next to him etc. etc.

So what's the query?

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

I think this is a "is this deliberate and if so, why?" query.

I don't have an issue with it either way.

Sorry!!!

There is now change of the wording, so you can't use wizard on prone players.

Well its alot harder to hit a player lying low ont he ground with an horizontal Lightning.
Same goes that people on the ground already get hit less by the fireball explosion (maybe except the poor target directly in the field of the explosion)
But hey :) who cares :)
It is a great TD stopper or interrupter not a "get him while he is down" trick :)

lightning is not horizontal anymore.
it hits a single target square anywhere on the pitch, so it is supposed to come from the sky.

well another reason then why a lightningbolt cant hit a prone target ;) People standing near him would be more likely to get hit by the lightning. :)
