Post by GalakStarscraper »

Just a quick note on this.

Jervis has confirmed that not only is he attending this year's Chaos Cup. He is going to play in the event as well.

Some easy wins for someone then. Make sure you get his NAF number.

Chaos Cup has been 100% NAF every year since I started fully running it in 2005.

I just have a feeling Darkson wants his NAF number so he knows who to PM his grievances with the current edition to

No, just so those he plays get their easy points.
I don't think JJ needs another email about what a bad system LRB5 is.

He has always favoured Dark Elves in the past. Both at the World Cup and the GT May just gone I had some good banter with him about how much they have improved as a tourney team in LRB5.

Tom, having read his Standard Bearer in this month's WD, were he calls himself an "absent-minded twit" (after forgetting to book his son and himself into a 40K doubles tournament) you might want to ask him what team he wants to play, and write up a roster and supply the models, just in case he forgets.

I'll go if I can use Impact models.

That and if I could actually play a game of LRB 5 without having a seizure. :puke:

Yeah, I know.

It's too bad too...cuz I'd probably go if it wasn't. But I ain't paying out $80-$100 just so's I can pay $200 to play.

But if I haven't sold all my minis by then I might play with whatever I have laying around. Actually I have a Norse team I don't intend to sell (at least for while) so maybe if I still feel like burning some money on a last Goodbye to Blood Bowl I might go. Is there a deadline on ticket sales?

Anybody old timers from BBC gonna be there?

FYI its only $20 to enter the Chaos Cup unlike the Blood Bowl.

That's less than a fith of the price of the Bloodbowl AND you get a free mini, and better prizes!

If GW puts the UK prices up again next year, it will almost be cheaper to fly to the US for the Chaos cup instead!

Is this tournament going ahead? I don't see any reference to it in the Sticky listing all of the 2008 tournaments, and there don't seem to be any recent postings about it.
