Sure, it hurts that you'll burn your first skill choices on surehands and pass and accurate if you want to develop the runner to a thrower, but dump-off is a very interesting tactical skill. It has won me games I would have lost with "surehands" or the like on my runner.
It's interesting, but very specialised. Personally i like starting teams to have skill used easily by unskilled coaches from the start. Dump off isn't. It's highly specialised and to me is a skill to be taken by the coaches that want it, rather than as a starting skill for all.
I don't even your dark Elf coaches will have a "runner" in a team there a Blitzer with Sure Hands and Dodge is a superb "runner" and need only 16 spps to be a sure handed blodger!

If you wanna change the runner, make him usefull! Atleast two skills and around 90K price.

But isn't one of the very points with the Dark Elves that they differ from that, and that their starting skills make them suited for experienced/untraditional coaches?

LRB5 DE runner is what made me play DElf

dump-off is not the best comp for sure. sure hand is far more effective.
but this very comp makes DElf unique and more insidious.

IMHO, it really sticks well with DElfs, because of that comp, you can easely play (and miss  ) option play.

PS: sorry for my english, it is not my mother tongue

Very true, but i'd still avoid such specialised skills on a rookie. My own opinion and like i said i'm not looking to change anything, just get a fair change to suit 1 small playing group.

Then I would suggest to just add Sprinit to the Runner as he stands.

7 3 4 7 Dump-off, Sprinit GAP 90K

Dump-offs change the game totally when it comes to getting Blitzed.

I orginally though what a load of blah, when I saw Dump-off on the DE runner, but after playing several teams, man is it great.

You call the DE runner a runner, just add a running skill to the skill he has. I like my DE to be risk takers, so Sprinit fills both bills, risky and fast.

I think that your DE coaches will actually appreciate the skill they are getting taken away, once they get both runners, with them NOS skilled. It has won me many a games, and kept my runners from getting blitzed quite a few times. After 43 games with my Nuffles Blessed (The team with no TRRs) one of my Runners has been killed and he didn't have the ball when they sacked him.

Thats my opinion of it. Keep it on there if you think its so specialized, and just add a skill. I would stay away from Sure Hands and Passing skills. Sure Hands should be made to be gotten, and other Passing skills seems to much like a Thrower. Dump-off is only ever used on your opponents turn, so its like your running the ball.

If at first one doesn't succeed, and doesn't try again, then he will never succeed.

i love the idea of the dump off sprint combo it makes teh dark elves a little quicker like they should be if he is ma 7

also if you wanted to encourage the dump off idea wouldnt nerves of steel be a possibel combo to start with that would make them all the more useful

My goal was not to make them overly useful right out of the box. Sorry but I don't like them to be built in, but they should be early point hogs natually, to gain those first 2 skills.

If you gave them NOS, there is little chance they will actually get Sprinit.

I feel that way about Dump-off also, if they don't start with it, they would never have it. Give them 2 skills that really helps, but aren't the premium choice, and almost anything they put with them will make them shine.

We're going with fend. A more physical skill, but the league is a little slow to get back going for a variety of uninteresting reasons so could be a while before we really test it out.
