Quick Snap + Bonehead, etc

Post by Podfrey »

Quick Snap states:

"All of the players on the receiving team are allowed to move one square"

Does this mean that if a Bonehead/Really Stupid/Wild Animal declares to move that one square then they have to roll? i.e. does it count as a declared move or do you just shift each model up to one square (in which case "move one square" is probably a poor choice of terminology)

Bonehead etc are rolled at the start of a player's action, and I can't imagine that a Quick Snap move counts as an action. Or else Vamps would be rolling for BloodLust etc.

The problem is the use of the term "move" in the whole thing.

What I need to know from the BBRC is whether this is intended as a Move Action, but restricted to 1 square, or whether it is simply shifting the models 1 square.

It's important because Bonehead et al are rolled when a player declares an action (such as in this case a Move Action).

It's fairly important as it's for a major BloodBowl project (I could tell you what, but then I'd have to force you to commit cyanide..I mean suicide   )

You don't roll bonehead etc for a quick snap.

I come bearing quotes...

Bone-head (Extraordinary)
The player is not noted for his intelligence. Because of this you must roll a D6 immediately after declaring an Action for the player, but before taking the Action. On a roll of 1 they stand around trying to remember what it is they’re meant to be doing.

Quick Snap!
The offence start their drive a fraction before the defence is ready, catching the kickingteam flat-footed. All of the players on the receiving team are allowed to move one square. This is a free move and may be made into any adjacent empty square, ignoring tackle zones.

I don't see any way to read the free move as a Move Action.

Edited to correct capitalization on Move Action

I concur with Ian it is the above. No Bonehead roll.
