Rerolls and Injuries.

Post by zephard »

When can one use a Team Reroll to reroll injuries?
If I have not used my reroll that turn, and trip, can I use a Team Reroll to roll the injury that is rolled?

Is it me or my opponent who rolls for the injury when I trip?

You can re-roll injury in one case I know of: When you use your apothecary. Aside from that, never, ever, as far as I know. Same with Armor breaks, except in the case of Piling On.

Team re-rolls can not be used in this way. Pro can not be used in this way.

(I am not 100% sure, but I don't even think there are any cards which allow you to re-roll injuries.)

TEAM RE-ROLLS
Team re-rolls represent how well trained a team is. A coach may
use a team re-roll to re-roll any dice roll (other than Armour,
Injury or Casualty rolls
)
made by a player in their own team and
who is still on the pitch during their own turn (even if the dice roll
was successful). The result of the new roll must be accepted in
place of the first, even if it is worse. A coach may not use more
than one Re-roll counter per turn, and may not use a Re-roll
counter to force the opposing coach to re-roll a dice roll.

Piling On allows the injury reroll as well. Apothecaries only affect Casualty rolls.

I seem what I should have asked was coudl I use a Reroll for the Casualty roll, not Injury.

But I see that is not possible. Thanks.

I thought you cannot reroll apoth rolls as you can only reroll player activities.

Are we having old system flashbacks? He's talking about using your apothecary for the match to reroll a casualty result. No one is talking about rerolling apos.

Ah that makes sense.

Apoths reroll casualty rolls anyway, not injury rolls.

(Also, it's not a real reroll, as you can stick with the 1st result after seeing the 2nd one)

But other than that....
