Starting Chaos Dwarf Roster

I am starting a Chaos Dwarf team in my local league which is just starting its season. I am considering this as my starting roster and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or changes they would recommend.

2 Bull Centaur

6 Chaos Dwarfs

3 Hobgobblin

1 Apothacary

5 Fan Factor

2 Re Rolls

Here's what I like.

2 Bull Centaurs 260K
3 CD Blockers 210K
6 Hobbos 240K
4 Rerolls 200K
9 Fan factor 90K

The blockers are cheaper to buy after the season starts than Rerolls. With the money table the way it is you need 9 fan factor. You also need to start with the 2 Bulls or you'll be saving for them a long time not doing anything else.

1 Troll
4 Chaos Dwarfs
7 Hobgoblins
5 Re-Rolls
9 Fan Factor

Both these rosters are great, and the most important thing about both is the number of re-rolls.

You will need at least that many with the hobgoblins. I started a roster with 3, and wish i had another one now.

with CD Blockers you want to start collecting every SPP possible ASAP so I would suggest this:

2 Bull Centaurs 260k
5 blockers 350k
5 Hobgoblins 200k
3 Rerolls 150k
4 Fan Factor 40k

Most people will already start with a high fan factor, you just take their money away!
Problem though against Throw a Rock/Pitch invasion and similars

Alternative rosters

2 BC
4 Bl
5 Hobgob
1 apoth
3 reroll
6 FF

or:

2 BC
5 Bl
4 Hobgob
3 RR
9 FF
and buy apoth after first match

High FF is less necessary to start with now, because the new modifiers on the FF result table mean most FF's won't get far above 10 too fast (mine are stuck around 10/11 now for about 10 matches!

As a Rule, I'd recommend not starting with ANY Bull's at all.
They gain SPP very easily.
Dwarfs dont, having them arround longer means they have more chance of getting the MVP.
Also, you dont need Bulls to beat other teams starting Rosters.

I always start mine like this:
After 6 games this season, I am 6-1. I have a full roster with 2 BC's, 6 CD's and the rest Hobbos. Don't want a troll because that means I can only field 2 Hobbos. Just beat the other 5-1(human) team in the league 4-0 in pouring rain.

6 Chaos Dwarves
5 Hobgoblins
1 Bull Centaur
3RR's
9FF
10K Treasury for next purchase.

On a more serious note, here's how I started mine :

6 CD
8 Hobgob
4 RR
6 FF

for a million $. First buy is the Apoth.

Here's how I would start it if I was to begin a new team :

1 BC (130K)
5 CD (350K)
5 Hobgob (200K)
4 RR (200K)
9 FF (90K)

30K over.

With 9 FF, you're sure to buy an apoth after the first game, probably with another Hobbo, maybe a CD. After that you decide if you want to go with the second BC or more RR.
