Given that the stand-up option as part of a Move/Blitz action has been rewritten under LRB 1.3, can a player with Piling On skill perform the following action legally?
Move 1 or more squares,
Perform a Block (as part of his Blitz),
Pile On to the downed opponent,
Spend 3 movement points to stand back up after Piling On, assuming he has enough movement left.
This sounds exceptionally beardy to me, but the rules (for Standing Up, Blitzing and Piling On skill definition) don't specifically disallow it.
As a side note, I've noticed something about the Standing Up part of an action. If the above applies for Piling On and the player has no movement left at the end of his blitz, for example having to Go-For-It twice to even attempt the blitz, can he still attempt to stand up for zero movement? The rule says the following "If a player has less than three squares of movement, he must roll 4+ to stand up". Common sense would dictate you need at least one point of movement to even attempt standing up.
What does everybody think about these points?

Players that are knocked down or fall over for any
reason should be placed face up on the field in the
square they were in when they fell over. While prone
the player loses his tackle zone and may do nothing
except stand up at a cost of three squares of his
movement when he next takes an action.
LRB 1.3 p12 (emphasis added)
Going prone ends a player's action. The player may not attempt to stand up until their next action.
