Dark elf or Pro Elf for 1m leauge

Post by final fortune »

Hi all

Im in a real doubt here. I know im gonna play elves for sure but cant deside between dark elves or pro elves. They are not the different to me but then again I dont have that great experince with elves. I want a team that can make a good pasing game but skill hold their own in brutality :) 4 blitzers and witch elves just seems too good to pass up

Its a league where you keep your team for next season and so on. 1M and LBR 5.0

What is your experince?

Thanks in advance

i'd go dark elves all day long. witches and blitzers are great. also i love the runners. get NOS on a runner and laugh while the oposition try to get the ball off him and his minder blitzer :)

Dark Elf!

Play either bash or running or passing!

Lots of gamestyles!

One bad thing with DE is that they are Haunted by Bad Luck, so get rerolls!!!!

Pro Elves! All that MA8 and Side Step is very hard to beat.

It depends. Short league: Pro Elves, long league: Darkies.

Don't choose the team depending on "who good they are"

Play the team you have most heart for

If you like running, blitzing, and short passes then go the Delfs. If you like to sit back, protect the ball and throw it to an open receiver then the Pelfs are for you.

Or play the team that is not represented in the league.

I had a mind to run Dark Elves as a 2nd team (hadn't played them since 1994) but as someone else has chosen them and he only has one team I'm using Pro-Elf for the first time.

In our meeting last week, I caused 2 CAS and a KO in the first three turns that effectively ended the game.

Bashy Elves.

Tough choice. I would look at the league.

Problem with pro-elves is that they are soft. Eventually the opponent will get blocks on you, and your players will go down easy. If it happens to be a catcher or blitzer that goes down, be prepared for the foul.

Make both teams up. Compare them and see what takes your fancy.

After this, read the various articles on playing DE and PE, and then read other articles on play styles and breaking cages. Like anything, the more knowledge you have, the better you will play, no matter what you take.

Cheers......

Neither team is very novice-friendly.

Dark E's are certainly much more difficult than ProElf.

It takes a true BB genious to win with the Dark elves :p

Seriously play with Pro Elves, much more like Woodies - simple game plan and a little tough.

If your league is 20 games plus then consider the Dark Side.
