DE TV110..anyone have any experince?

Post by final fortune »

A new tournament is comming up and i have just startet a normal DE team for a league. Now this is for a tournament and im sure that requires some different thinking og some adjustments.

I was thinking something like this:

4 blitzers
4 line elf
2 witch elf
1 runner
2RR
0 FF
20k banked

what do you guys think? Is DE a decent team for tournies?

This is almost the exact same roster I took to the BUBBLE tournament, where it did really well (they won the damned thing). I took a coach and a cheerleader instead of the FF though.

So yeah, this IS a decent team.

Why the 20k banked? In a (ressurection) tournament money is worthless.

i have never palyed a ressurection tournament before... so i dont get any wins to buy more players, RR etc. ?

well if thats the case then yes your are right its a waste of money. then a chearleader and an assistant coach as advised might be a god idea :D

In a ressurection tournament all teams reset after every game. So even if all your players die in a match, in the next match you have your full team again. And you don't earn money or star player points. But your team gets a certain amount of skills (depending on the exact tourney rules).

A lot depends on the exact format of the tournament you want to go to.
Do you get a skill before each game? Then it will take at least 2 games before you can have Leader on the Runner (your witches desperately need Block before that).

If all skills are given before the tournament, this makes the Runner very interesting because of Leader.

My favorite TR110 Dark Elf team:
2 Witches
3 Blitzers
1 Runner
5 Lines
3 Rerolls

Dont you gonna mis that witch elf later in the tournament? An extra RR would be great but 2 crowd surfing elfs just sounds too good to pass up

?? My lineup has 2 Witches. I give up the 4th Blitzer to get the 3rd Reroll.

4x Blitzer
2x Witch Elf
5x Lineman
2x RR
1 FF - 1 Coach- 1 Cheerleader

Maximum Block, maximum Dodge, maximum AV8.

Don't play Runners, AV7 is too much of a weakness, you have enough MA7 already.

Good luck 8)

Keep the runner! Dump Off gives you a quick reprieve when things go wrong. Also, it's resurrection, so AV7 won't be that much of a liability

Maybe it's just me, but I love dump off...

I'd only take a Runner for the Leader skill.

I'm with PubBowler... maybe. But maybe I wouldn't even do that.
