Mighty Blow
Hello all, first post and I didn't really want to make a "hello I'm new" post.
In the league I am playing in, we have house-ruled Mighty Blow a bit. We state that if you roll armor and you would need the +1 to break through, then you use it there. If you roll armor and make it with out the +1, then the bonus goes towards damage.
We feel that this is a good compromise between version 3 of blood bowl and LRB5. I was just wondering if anyone has tried this out before and has is become broken?

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

Well they're both right.
One thing that many forget is that you don't have to use a skill and that you decide wether to use after the dice i rolled...
Page 23 LRB5
....
4. Skill use is not mandatory
5. You can choose to use a skill that affects a dice roll after rolling the dice.

Hmm. I meant that both Darkson and rodders were right...GalakStarscraper wrote:However the original posters wasn't talking about forcing usage at all.Ikterus wrote:Well they're both right.![]()
So Darkson was right. What he posted was exactly how the LRB 5.0 version already works.

I just thought I could shed some light over the issue by pointing towards the paragraf in the book so bjorn could see for himself. Since it was bjorns first post I thought I could be a little helpful.
